| I have enjoyed
photography at many levels for many years. It was in my teens I
discovered I had an eye for a picture. This gradually became a consuming
passion, and as I developed my skills and understanding of what makes a
good image I became part of the photographic community of the UK. I met and worked with some of the finest photographers of the time, who still remain a terrific inspiration to me. My photographs
won acceptance in International exhibitions, and on one occasion I was
awarded a Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique Ribbon. I was invited to become a judge for the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain, utimately judging International Photographic Competitions. I spent a number of very happy years traversing the Camera Clubs of Southern England, making lots of friends in the process. Sharing my love of photography with others has always been top of the list for me.
My own photography has always been broadly based on a wide variety of subjects and styles, and some of my favourite personal images can be found here.
My enthusiasm
for and participation in many aspects of photography continues
unabated. I particularly enjoy the responsibility and involvement of
wedding and portrait photography, which are challenging and pleasurable, and
ultimately extremely rewarding. I've recently become more involved in photographic holidays, which are concentrated, exciting and just really good fun.
My clients
enjoy working with me on their big day, and they love the images I
produce for them. Comments from some of my clients can be found here. |
